Share meaningful moments, eat tasty local food, and shop the local farmers table at Greenville’s Star Warehouse Market.
Star Warehouse Market will be a ~25,000-sqft community focused food hall and market. Our vendor spaces will range in size from 700 to 1,000 sq ft. This modern market will be the place to discover Greenville’s best food talent. There will be a farmers table for fresh produce, meats, crafts, and flowers. Now accepting inquiries for interested vendors.
Over 100 years ago, five members of the Greenville community came together to create the tobacco warehouse district that would shape the future of the region. Farmers didn’t have to travel so far, their crops were more profitable, and their quality of life vastly improved.
It became a social hub where you could “come and greet your neighbor” — a rare opportunity to connect with people who were otherwise occupied with the daily grind of farm living.
Today, we are inspired by the idea of creating a uniquely Greenville space that makes it easy to connect with our neighbors. The Ficklen proudly stands in the former E.B. Ficklen and Star Warehouses, ready to welcome guests to stop and experience more meaningful moments together.
We love this city and the people in it. Our families are from here and we’re proud to share in Greenville’s history. We’re dedicated to providing a place for people to connect to each other, to incubating new businesses and ideas, and supporting a better quality of life for everyone.
Do you have a photo or story from your family of the original EB Ficklen Tobacco Warehouse? We’d love to hear from you.
